Kris Benson, CCP, I.S.P.

640K ought to be enough for anybody.

The principle at Natural Networks, Kris has been working with personal computers since the mid-1980's when 640k of RAM really was enough for everybody.

With experience in Unix and Windows system administration, programming in several languages including C, C++, perl, PHP and JavaScript, and a solid foundation in security principles, Kris is well-versed in every area of technology that Natural Networks seeks to service.  He has training in business administration, accounting, computer science and Christian ministry.  Additionally, he is bilingual in English and French.

Kris was the president of CIPS Prince George (Omineca section) from 2004-2006. He is also a member of Mensa Canada and a certified member of CIPS British Columbia.

He currently holds two professional designations:

  • Information Systems Professional (I.S.P.)
  • Certified Computing Professional (CCP)

In addition, he has achieved the following industry certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows 2000
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) on Windows 2000
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) on Metaframe 1.8

  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA i-Net+
  • CIW Associate

He is currently working on several other certifications, including the following:
